Book Review: The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck

If you're looking for a fun, clean historical fiction, The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck: A Novel by Kathleen Y'Barbo is a good choice.  It's the story of a young girl who wants and education and her choice to accept a marriage proposal to a handsome young astronomer as a way to get the permission from her father to attend college.

Both Charlotte and Alex plan on annulling their marriage as soon as possible, but then Alex's feelings change and eventually Charlotte's do too.

I guess I'm a romantic at heart because I enjoyed the relationship development between Charlotte and Alex.  I also learned a little about Astronomy too!

The book was a quick read because I wanted to see the conclusion.  I hope you enjoy it too!

I received a copy of The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck: A Novel for review purposes.  The opinions stated above are my own.
