This was a perfect acitivty for both kids while I made dinner. And it happened by chance. I pulled some muffin tins out and told my two and half year old to find things that fit in each muffin spot. He grabbed some letter and number magnets off the fridge and filled the tin.And then he found that the magnets stick! He and my one year old had a blast placing the magnets in and then turning the tin upside down. Low and behold, the magnets didn't fall out! To a little one's mind, this is magic!
My son even started tossing the magnets in, trying to get them to land magnet side down. Dinner was prepared, children were happily occupied, and we will be playing with muffin tins and magnets again soon.
