We tried the fun and super easy microwaveable puffy paint recipe from the June/July issue of Family Fun. It was a huge hit with my kids who were mesmerized at the puffiness of their paintings when they came out of the microwave!
Microwaveable Puffy Paint (adapted from Family Fun Magazine)
-1 Tablespoon flour
-1 Tablespoon salt
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-2 Tablespoons water
-food coloring
Mix everything together and then paint on sturdy paper. Bigger drops of paint make more impressive puffs! Microwave for 30 seconds and walla!
The great thing is you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen and the kids can help mixing up the paint.
